Bullet Butter Chocolate Bites – Wha?!
Have you heard about adding butter to your coffee? There is a lot of information about it and the health benefits of adding grass fed butter to your coffee. But what if you don’t drink coffee? Or if you don’t like butter in your coffee? If you don’t like butter in your coffee then I’m just assuming you haven’t tried it. Seriously. TRY IT. Each of the ingredients in this chocolate has great health benefits.
- 1/2 cup nut butter
- 3tbsp coconut oil – Benefits HERE
- 3tbsp grass fed butter – Benefits HERE
- 3 tbsp raw honey – Benefits HERE
- 2 tbsp cocao powder – Benefits HERE
- 2 tbsp grass fed gelatin (green can) – Benefits HERE
- Optional: chopped nuts, chocolate chips, etc.
Your body needs fat to function optimally. This is a way to get all of that fatty goodness into your body by the way of chocolate. I’m going to say this again, FAT IS GOOD FOR YOU. Anything that says ‘low fat’ or ‘fat free’ put it down and run the other way!
Mix all of your ingredients together except the grass fed gelatin. Once all of your ingredients are mixed into a smooth consistency. Sprinkle the grass fed gelatin in and mix well. Pour your chocolate into a pan and place the pan into the refrigerator or freezer for about 3 hours.
If you put it in the fridge, it will be a soft fudge consistency. If you put it in the freezer, it will be a bite-able chocolate. Either way, this has to be kept in the fridge or freezer until you are ready to eat it. I mean share it. No really…. probably just eat it. I still have some in my freezer and no one else in the house knows it’s there. Insert maniacal laughter here. … Too much? Eh, you have to try the chocolate first before judging my maniacal laughter.
Oh, and slice your chocolate to the desired size. Or just take a bite. Don’t worry, I won’t tell.
